Friends from Suriname
It was a joy to have friends visit us in Belgium. We met Henk
and Anneke Wassink while we were serving in Suriname, South America. The
Wassinks are Dutch missionaries, and they're heroes in my eyes. Henk is
involved in evangelism and distributing Christian literature. Anneke
corrected my Dutch. She helped to make sure that the materials we used
at the Bible School were clear and understandable. Henk and Anneke are
good examples of how to live and work as effective missionaries. How
important it is to have good role models! We've had few visitors during
the last three years, so it was a special treat to have the Wassinks
stay at our home.
In June, I preached at the International Church of Evangelicals again.
The title of the sermon was "Finding the Right Girl," and the subject
was walking by faith as exemplified by Abraham's servant who was charged
with finding a bride for Isaac. You can download a copy of that message

Prayer Requests
